I started my 6 week boot camp class yesterday. I've been doing pretty well with exercise the last month and a half. Our Costa Rica trip is hanging over my head and the only reason I've been hitting the cardio so hard is to get in shape for a bikini. I have 3 weeks to go!!! Even though it might rain all day and night during our vacation, I can still look good under my jeans and poncho, right?
It's actually been kind of fun. I hate working out usually because i just go run on the beach or on a treadmill and that is so ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz. These boot camp/exercise classess allow you to have access to all kinds of exercises and equipment you wouldnt usually have.
Anyway, back to BCOR. It's pretty close to where I live. The morning class is at a different location than the evening class. My friend Jen also bought the deal and her hard-core tush goes to the morning class and the evening class. Pshaw.
It's in a little plaza next to Quinn's which has the best cupcakes in the world!! I shall abstain though, because I'm healthy and junk (and because it's already closed when I get there). The gym is teeny tiny and there are like 3 different things going on at once, so it's a little all over the place. I arrived and signed the waiver and I was ready to go. It's mostly toning with weights and stuff which is cool since I do tons of cardio @ kickboxing but hardly and weights. I'm a happy camper with the class.
toodles

First Post EVAH!!!
It's Monday, June 6th, 2011 (duh)
I've just bought another coupony-thing. I'm officially hooked. I've bought about 7 in the past but I can now proudly say that I'm a couponer. My latest purchase is for 6 weeks of unlimited boot camp classes in Cypress. That's like, the city I live in and junk!! The value? $209 (yes dollars!) What I paid for it? $35. Linky:

I happen to think that this coupon-movement is fantastic. When I tell people about the deals and the websites, they just go: Meh. Meh? It's doing cool things that you may never have done before and doing them for a lot cheaper. I think some people may not be into it because they've been a victim of the dreaded "expiration date". Yes folks, some deals expire, so pay attention and don't buy it unless you can commit. I bet this happens to a lot of exercise classes. It almost happened to me. I waited until the last.possible.moment to use another boot camp and dreaded the first day. Guess what? I loved it! And that's how I know that I won't let this deal go bad. That and the impending task of squeezing into a bikini 3.5 (!!!!) weeks from now in beautiful Costa Rica. Here I go!
